so many things happened during that time. i ran, found me a girlfriend, i stopped running, revived something that died, i started running again, ran my first half marathon, stopped running, got engaged, and started running again.
well, now i’m writing again. the reason i’m writing is.. “that guy who started running and lost 120lbs, and finished iron man!”. damn, he was huge. and i do think he was bigger than rashid robocop. these guys are pure inspiration. i should keep pictures of them in my bedroom for inspiration (yeahhh..!).
I need to document my running experience so i can motivate myself. that two months hiatus was baddd.. ‘michael jackson’s bad’ with ‘weird al’s fat’. so now, let’s make this space active again.
started baby steps again this week, 3k per run, monday, wednesday, and friday. Nike’s KL vs SG 10K this sunday, i’m aiming for 7K no-walk. Timing wise, haih. tak kisah laa..
i think my perut is acting strange after we had that super pedas ayam penyet at 15 the other day. the sambal was not pedas di mulut, but it was pedas di perut, dan di buntut. like what the hell, everytime i burps, there’s a strange taste in my mouth. bahaya bahaya…
so i went running (ehem, jogging) today after 6 days of no work and play (abis, aku buat apa all week?). even my nike mini started to play some paddleball and video games, haih. but anyway, the story was like i ran (ehem, jog) my normal route for almost 10 minutes. and i suppose to cover 1km already. but the woman on my ipod said, “.5km completed”. like WTF? then i kept running (ehem, jogging) a little further more and she said “.63km completed” in 15 minutes. OI, aku lari dah jauh. penat tau, takkan baru 630 meter!
so i had to take it out, turn it around, goncang goncang sikit and continue running (i mean jogging). baru ok. dapatlah 2.18km, which is better than 800 meter @ 16m21s. budus.
i have to start improving my pace now. will be running in a team soon for Ekiden (bukan eksiden, ye) relay run. must at least run 3km in less than 25 minutes. so how do you run (errr jog) during Ramadhan? ajar sikit.
the year was 1998, the movie was Can’t Hardly Wait. i got hooked on this one song by this one band. the band got awesome, broken up, and now they’re back.
i’ve been watching this show from BBC, All the Small Things. recommended my the brother. it’s an awesome show, for those who just love music in general. i don’t really know why the englands would want to make a show based on Blink-182. but hey it’s all good.
